The forecast is below 50% for most of the evening, so I bet they try to get it in... especially after the little bit of flack they caught for cancelling yesterday.

I was more thinking of how our guys are going to get there today.

Dallas works the strike zone so craftfully and pitches to contact so much that doesn't need velocity. He's not a blow it by you type pitcher.

Let's just take a look at how good Tyler White has been compared to the rest of the AL.

Also, Alex Bregman has been destroying the pitching in AA. He has a slash line of .395/.480/.767 and an OPS of 1.247. Already has 5 homers through 11 games. If he keeps that up we will probably see some position changes to get Correa, Bregman, and Altuve in the lineup together

I would imagine that Bregman is basically on the "Correa's 2016" path at this point. I dont even know if Fresno really has a true SS at this point. At that point it's kind of a AAA logjam of candidates to address any 3B needs in the majors.

Definitely has a SS... He's currently hitting .472 in 42 plate appearances this year... Only problem is......He's 30 years old and has been a yoyo for the Tigers and their AAA affiliate for like 5 years.

You absolutely have to get Bregman up to AAA and get some ABs if they think he is ready. First off, I don't want to see us leave someone in the minors for too long like we did Correa. Secondly, Bregmans trade value goes even higher if he has AAA experience.

Tony Kemp is slashing .389/.476/.444 and Colin Moran is slashing .324/.385/.471.

When May rolls around, if these guys are still tearing it up in the minor leagues and guys like Valbuena and Gomez are still struggling, the Astros will have some decisions to make.

I would include Gattis in that mix, but I think he takes over for Kratz as backup catcher. And if he proves capable, will likely steal more than one out of every five games from Castro. That's assuming, of course, that Gattis begins to match last year's numbers and Castro continues to suck. Right now, they're both trash at the plate.

Danny Worth has played 2B in 4 of his 9 starts for Fresno. He is splitting time with Nolan Fontana at shortstop. He's played 2B and 3B a lot with both Detroit and in the minors. Fresno lists him as a 2B (also Fontana). His ceiling this year barring some major injury crisis in Houston is to outplay Duffy, Moran, Bregman, et al for a shot at 3B if one opens.

Would love to sweep the Rangers, but will gladly take 2 out of 3. Also need a series win over the Sox in houston this weekend. It would be nice to have another starting pitcher step up and get some consistency on the mound.

I don't want Kemp or Moran starting for either one of Gomez or Valbuena coming down the stretch and into the playoffs.

We have actual Major league guys with playoff experience that can fill in if we feel they need to sit.
