Mchugh has been on the verge of a big inning every one except the first. They are smoking it when they hit it. I'd run him out for the 6th and pull him if someone gets on with less than 2 outs
Anyone else ready to see Moran get called up to man third for us? He had a great spring and continues to tear it up at Fresno. Valbuena, meanwhile, is ice cold.
I fkng hate gomez. Miserable hitter, and now he's ****e in Centerfield too. That ball was easily catcheable, but he takes yet another terrible route to a fly ball and misses it.
That's how I feel all the time with Houston teams and the Ag's for that matter. You know, kinda like the 2015/16 rockets, 2013 Texans, 2013 Ag's, the Kyle Allen/Kyler Murray saga. When expectations are low our teams show up, not so much when they're high. Hell, not very high expectations for Aggie football this year, we'll probably go 12-.....you know what, nevermind.
Gomez hasn't shown offensively or defensively that he is worth a major league roster spot, mich less what we gave up for him in trade... Sickening.
Our lineup is basically performing at the floor of what anyone could have expected outside of White. Springer and correa are slumoing, and everyone else save Colby Rasmus (Highest WAR in the big leagues) is letting us down.
We are doing nothing good that we did good last year. Valbuena not dropping bombs, Gattis is pathetic, Marwin can't buy a hit, Castro is Castro, zero clutch hitting whatsoever.
It's like I'm watching an entirely different team out there, and it saddens me greatly.
Not to mention our outfield of "three guys that can play center field" is horrible.
Springer has trouble with the lights, despite somehow zero opponents having the same issue, and Gomez has taken some horrible routes to balls that should have been caught.
