Okay I'm ready.

I only made one game last year but it was the Lowrie Sunday slam against the Twins. Now that I've got a little better job this year I'm looking forward to more trips.

I was cheering my ass off. Wife had to take my 3 yr old out of the stands because I was freaking him out. Didn't care one bit either. He'll survive.

I was ready to fight someone last year on my quest for a simple orange hat. I don't want a snap back or a flat billed, I just wanted a regular old style fitted orange had with the H-star on the front. You'd have thought I was searching for the holy grail.

I still can't bring myself to wear a predominantly orange shirt. It's not just my hatred of sips. Orange has been the enemy's color for most of my life. All my Astros stuff is navy.

I found one I really liked when we first switched the colors back but I left it at my hotel when I was in NYC covering the Heisman in 2013.

My new one is okay, but it has the white panel on the front which I don't love. Maybe at some point this season I'll experiment with bringing a new hat in.

You can't find this **** anywhere. 39/30 hats from new era are the closest you'll get. I got a Nike one that says "ASTROS" on the front that I like.

Try the low crown fitted hats. Doesn't fit me right but some love them. Hell I'll give you the all orange one I have.

Ok, just saw you said you wanted fitted. Yeah, the new era ones that nuke mentioned are fitted and say Astros across the back where the strap would be on an adjustable hat. That's the closest I've found, but I have it in blue (not sure if they make that one in orange) and I don't love the way it fits. But it's not flat bill.

Apparently if you don't wear a flat bill you're out of luck for about 80% of the hats made.

The New Era on field Low Profile fitted hats are not flat bill. They actually come slightly curved and are the bill is much easier to curve more if that is what you are in to.
