I said it back when he had the scoreless inning streak, but Harris is who we thought he was, a below average arm who rode the anamoly streak for the first half of the season and his "roulette wheel" hit red 18 times in a row. He is now regressing back to the mean.

**** Harris. Nothing but a AAA closer who greatly over performed first half of the season.

I've been quiet about Hinch all year, but damnit Harris has no business being a closer.

Something is just mentally wrong with this team. Everyone that tries to close ends up ****ting the bed. Rookie call ups crapping their pants at the sight of big league pitching. I don't know if that falls on coaching or what, but it's just plain awful right now.

This is not on Hinch. This is on Giles being terrible to start the year and not earning the closer role and our bullpen being mentally weak. Most on here were screaming for Harris to close a month and a half ago.

Dude, every closer goes through rough patches. To act like you know when exactly a guy is having just a bad outing or two versus not being right for the job is like saying you knew that stock was sure to go up in value tomorrow.

Hinch just needs to eliminate the closer's roll from the team the rest if the year. Just use the guys as needed and don't have anyone worried about losing their role.

I agree all closers go through slumps. This is a team that can't afford to lose games to the Blue Jays. Why put the outcome in the hands of a guy who's been struggling? It's not rocket science.

Gregerson would've been a better choice. And FTR, I don't give a damn about saves or "closer." You bring in the guys that give you the best chance to win. Harris has not been the best chance for the past month.
