Barring a miraculous turnaround, I definitely think we'll be sellers at the trade deadline. The only problem is, who can we sell? We have a lot of dead weight that no one wants.

Gomez won't get a qualifying offer and he doesn't want to be in Houston, so we will just need to cut our losses with him at the deadline. thats a trade to forget for Luhnow.

I don't watch a lot of ball besides the Stros, but are all home plate umpires as bad as the ones we have every game? Seriously it seems every game we have the absolute worst calls.
Umps have always missed the outside pitch and always will. At least it's better than during the Maddox and Glavine days.

I still joke with my dad about how mad he used to get at home plate umps and the outside phantom strike call when the braves were playing
Speaking of the braves, mchugh on the mound today in these unis looks like he's pitching for the braves.
as an astros fan born in '84, I still have nightmares of Glavine, Maddox, Avery, and Smoltz and having them boot us from the playoffs every year.
