I highly doubt Seattle would engage Texas for King Felix, but hadn't thought about the impact of LAAA on Seattle. Clearly Oakland has abandoned winning the next 3-4 years.

So, picture this scenario:
Seattle trades King Felix to Texas for Martin Perez, Engel Beltre and Jurickson Profar. (Although after getting Josh Lueke, Beltre may not go over well)
Oakland trades Gio Gonzalez to Texas for Mike Olt, Neil Ramirez and Luis Sardinas. As mentioned on another thread, I'm warming to the idea Maddux may be able to tweak his pitch enough to lower the Ws.
6. Ogando - FA after 2016
2. Holland - FA after 2015
5. Gio Gonz - FA after 2015
3. Feliz - FA after 2015
4. Harrison - FA after 2014
1. King Felix - FA after 2014
8. Feldman - Team option for 2013
7. Colby Lewis - FA after 2012
Now, you have to flip Feldman or Lewis probably before getting both Gio and Felix, although ST could help showcase them.
1. King Felix - Ace, potential Top 5-10 ERA
2. Holland - #1/2, potential Top 15 ERA
3. Feliz - #4/5 in 2012, but potential #1/2 in 2013+
4. Harrison - #1/2, potential Top 15/20 ERA
5. Gio Gonz - #2, potential Top 25 ERA
It would be expensive in terms of prospects, but we'd be locked for the next 3 years with proven/established SP depth.
I'm not a fan of getting rid of Ogando, Perez or Ramirez OR Profar, and I still think Gio has more risk. But WOW...
Ok - Bash away.
