Closer extraordinaire Joakim Soria has struggled in 2 of 10 appearances this season. Blowing a 3-run lead in one game (gave up 4-runs and 4-hits vs CWS on 4/6) and has given up 3-HRs already this season. He gave up, IIRC, 3 all of last season and had over 30 saves.

They may not really be as good as their record indicates, but they are a lot of fun to watch right now (especially for a guy who’s first MLB game when he was 4yrs old was in 1974 in, then, Royals Stadium. I haven’t had much to cheer about since the early 90’s.

The Royals have not lost a series yet this season (splitting 4-game series with the Angles and Cleveland, and a 2-game series with the White Sox).

I said on Monday if the Royals can win just 4 of their next 10, it would be great for them. They’re half way there. I think they’ll drop the first two and win on Sunday.

That's a good question, at least they realized their mistake and brought Chuck back.

Went to the Ballpark for the first time since Yankees Game 6 last night. Had a great time on a classic jet stream night, and Mitch even came through for me when I put in the call.

Too bad the fireworks show was canceled though.

Went to the game last night with a buddy who had never been to the Ballpark. As we sit down I tell him dont be fooled by the flags, the jet stream will be in full effect tonight and he should expect 4 or 5 bombs. Not 2 minutes later a group sits down behind us. From what I could gather they were "huge Rangers fans" and one girl taught dance at Baylor. I have never hear so little baseball knowledge in my life. On top of that my fiance informed me that the dance teacher was also an idiot (she teaches dance). It was all topped off when one of the guys stated that with the wind blowing in they wouldnt get to see any homeruns.

It was funny for a while then it just got annoying.

I love it when my teams win but the side effects can be brutal...

Davis nearly gave another souvenir to the kid who caught the homer the other night. Just a really long out though
