Bullpen is so, so unreliable
Overall, I'm impressed with how well the team worked through the cobbled together rotation all season but the bullpen is just dreadful so it overshadows it.

Annnnnd another 2 run, lead changing HR given up by Webb.
Don't worry Edward Cabrera is going to save the pen!
No idea why he's still on the roster. Of course, that can be said about 95% of the relievers.
Webb literally carried the pitching staff for almost 2 months where he went somewhere around 25 IP without giving up a run. He just seems like he was overworked and might be toast this year.

I will say.....Pedro has been a nice add from a versatility standpoint....and Nico has played a pretty impressive SS on Dansby's absence

And the bullpen happened again in extras (though the offense had chances to win it and failed). Thielbar and Cabrera shouldn't see the mound the rest of the season.

Bullpen was actually pretty decent through the 11 innings....and then yes they got their implosion.
Offense was 1 for 18 with RISP last night. Woof.

Honestly would be OK with the Cubs getting the last Wildcard berth so they play in ATL and then would go to LA who seem a bit beat up.
I feel like there only chance to advance is to play at home. I don't know what the home/road splits are but it feels like the offense has had more juice at home over the last 4 or 5 weeks and they're going to need as much offense as they can get
