Would you guys go to a place that had all the MLB games on and served hotdogs from all of the parks?

For example, you could get a Dodger Dog or a Brewers Brat, etc.

Of course fries and stuff too...and beer.

It's an interesting concept...but if I want a good hot dog, I can make them myself. It's not something I would leave the house for.

If this restaurant was at a ballpark, however, it might be a cool option....but I don't think the other teams would appreciate how their product is available somewhere else when they feel it should be unique to their own park.

Sixiron- I feel the same way about eating hotdogs at home, but Weinerschnitzel and Hotdogs Etc. seem to be doing business.

Maybe its me, but I haven't had a good dog at a ballpark in a while. The ones that I've had at Minute Maid the last couple of times have been terrible and the ones I had at Fenway last fall were really bad as well. I can't remember my opinion on Ballpark hotdogs.

Couple years back at US Cellular Field I passed a stand grilling brats and kosher dogs on one side of the grill and a mountain of onions on the other side. If a restaurant would do THAT, then I'm in. If they are just going to give me a generic dog in a foil pouch then I'm out. Ohh! Maybe they could grill em up at your table like Benihana. I know out in San Fran they like those garlic fries. Will our baseball restaurant have those too, or just dogs & brats?

Interesting concept.

Like all concept restaurants, it will come down to the quality of the food and the price.

Deliver quality food at reasonable prices and I can see it working in the right market/location.

Walton - I was thinking stadium food in general, but especially the famous stadium food (like the garlic fries)...and old favorites, except better...like nachos. Eat peanuts while you wait, and kids get a free box of cracker jacks on the way out if you want 'em.

I've got no where near the experience or liquid assets to get something like this started. It was just an idea to float past you guys.

I love buffalo wings. Not sure why they're not that big at sports venues.

That is all.

Maybe because they are so messy? Not sure. Seems like it'd be hard to eat wings while sitting in your seat. Also, there's a lot of waste involved unless they are boneless.

It's a neat concept and I love MLB but I don't think the hot dog component would be enough to entice me to come. I'd rather just go to my already favorite bar and eat wings or some other bar food. I really only like hot dogs actually at the game.

I did have a kick ass dog opening day at TBIA. It was actually grilled in front of me and it was damn tasty.

buffalo wings are about as practical as BBQ ribs at sporting events. they make no sense. which is why most sports bars sell them instead...
