Finally got 82-0 w/out using Kareem or Wilt.
Elvin Hayes and Bob McAdoo at PF and C.

I started flipping to "leading rebounder" for PF and C, and you get some very intresting stat extremes for the Rebounds / steals / blocks that can make it doable.

Harden/Mitchell backcourt is a defensive nightmare, but will take the 82-0

I've done this a few times now and got a 10-72.

I'm not sure it's possible to go 0-82...that 10-72 team combined for 15.2 ppg and 7.3 rpg.

I don't think it's possible. I've tried a few times and was able to get 4-78 with a team that averaged less than 6 points a game.

Finally did it. Certainly thought Finley would cost me. Consistently can get a ~10 loss or less team. Nearly impossible without Wilt to hit 82, but can be done...

I don't think it gives enough credit for assists or steals. Just knowing basketball, plugging in Magic or Stockton to any 82-0 team should only serve to improve those teams. But I don't know that their point averages always allow it.

They can't give too much weight to steaks or blocks because they weren't tracked until the 70s.

Anyways, I'm enjoying this game but looking at the 82-0 teams, it seems like 90% of the time it's because of Wilt, and the other 10 because of Kareem. I think they need to rework their formula. It seems like SG like Jordan or Kobe aren't a big deal, but in reality they are huge. Maybe give the player a score relative to their decade or something like that.
