We have our own. Top 55 protected. If it was 55-60, Boston got it.Enzo The Baker said:
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think we only have the Lakers 2nd this year.
He certainly seems like the type of player we typically end up getting in free agency.Enzo The Baker said:
I think it was the athletic NBA podcast. I also found that interesting. It would give the spurs more time to hit in the draft and/or not be trigger happy on an available FA/potential trade.

The FO saw Wemby carry our C team to a near win last night and freaked out about losing our draft spot to Charlotte
Unfortunately, I think we will have to do some extra tanking to get 3rd over Charlotte. And if we tie, it's a coin flip.
Honestly, this draft isn't worth splitting hairs over our draft spot too much.
Only thing is getting Toronto's pick this year. They are currently sitting with the 6th worse record in the league. 4 games ahead of the blazers (who have the 5th worse record). But with draft lottery odds, if the season ended today, there's still a stronger chance the pick conveys to the Spurs (it's top 6 protected).
Two top 10 picks this year would be stellar
I would rather it covert next year than this year.

Same, but I would also rather it convert this year than not at all….which is exactly what will transpire if it does not convert this year. Toronto will embrace the full season tank next year.

Nikola Jokić was asked if he said anything to Victor Wembanyama after dunking on him.

He said he told Wemby: "If you block one more shot, I'm gonna..."
"But he blocked like four after that, so I didn't do anything about it." pic.twitter.com/dVqQ3W4lww

I watched a good chunk of that Celtics-Thunder game last night and it looked like Chet's legs are pretty tired. In a game where SGA and J-Dub weren't playing, you'd think Chet would pick up more of the slack but he was just another guy out there. Gotta be hard to be the only big man on a team with aspirations, but just made me think that post-ASB Wemby wouldn't have laid an egg in that situation.
Who has Victor Wembanyama scored the most points on (as his primary defender) this season?
