Not dissing Lively...but Luka was -9. Green was like -1, and you saw how that looked with your own eyes.

+/- does get misapplied a lot. It's not simply "we are worse or better when this player is on the court".

Lively is clearly giving us more than Gafford, but we do NEED Gafford.
I would not mess with the minutes they are getting, or the order in which Kidd is playing them.

I think we can do that while they are playing NAW and if they are going to play Kyle Anderson.

I think this could actually be a Tim series, as crazy as it is to say. Don't mind having him in the game for some spacing against this team and he can guard either Anderson, NAW, or even McDaniels on the other end. I don't recall the exact Tim minutes, but he was a +7. He allows the lane to be wide open because they have to stay out on him.

Definitely don't need any more Josh Green this series. He was just so bad last night that it actually boggled my mind. He must have done about 5 or 6 really really stupid things in only 13 minutes.

Didn't think Exum was particularly good (he did have the one charge drawn) but he is much more steady than Green and won't do anything completely dumb. Hardy should be getting 15 minutes instead of 9, also.

Green seems like the "trying too hard" guy. Be smart. Know your role. Do your job. He is a bundle of energy trying to make an impact, but with a role player, you don't have to make an impact. Do your role and that is your impact.

Yep, I called him a chaos agent here, but I heard it somewhere else first. Sometimes he can be a chaos agent against the other team and sometimes the call is coming from inside the house.

I think he is basketball smart, but sometimes he gets caught being a little too smart. He will overplay a guy and allow for an easy drive. He will play off his man too much to try to get a steal and leave his guy open for 3. He makes some nice drives and can make good passes, but he will leave his feet too often and/or too soon.

He's also shooting almost 5% lower from 3 in the playoffs than he did in the regular season. Ever since he came back from injury, he has been really bad from 3. He was ice cold to end the regular season. I think he was right at 40% before injury. He's at 34% in the playoffs.

yep....the textbook definition/visual representation of lack of confidence was that first time he drove the lane in the 1st qtr and went up for a wide open 4 foot floater and bricked it front iron way short. I know from way too much experience now in my pickup basketball days as that's how I typically start a game
