Yea. He just doesn't provide anything on the floor lately. Shooting poorly and defense is bad.
Kidd needs to stop with the rotation of having THJ and Maxi on the floor. Just a disaster defensively.

Yep and a really strange move by Kidd to have both Lively and Maxi out there, leaving Maxi to guard Kuminga. Way too much speed and athleticism for Maxi. That's a coach setting a player up to fail.
Man PJ and Gafford make this team soooo much better. This would be a route if Luka was not having an off night.

Pels lost, now just need the Lakers to help. Should be sitting a .5 game out of the 6 and 1.5 out of the 5 after tonight.
Luka not playing the rest of the night because left hamstring soreness. Hopefully they are just being careful with the game against OKC tomorrow.

Kidd needs to give Hardy THJ's minutes. Just wasting him on the bench while THJ throws bricks and plays no defense.
I'm looking for the Pels to really fall off. They went 13-4 over their past 17, but take a look at their schedule over the past month and a half. It has been about as soft as the Mavs schedule was during our 7 game win streak. They get walloped tonight by the Cavs with no Mobley as their schedule starts to get a lot more difficult.gigem1223 said:

No issue with us being cautious here, especially in a game that could be considered a schedule loss anyways. Just hope it isn't long term. He'll have 3 days off until our next game against Denver.

I hate it, unless it is potentially serious. I don't like penciling this game in as a loss, even though my confidence level is lower even with Luka in. These games are just so crucial. Really don't want to settle for play in.

But I think it is worthy of a night off. He didn't even travel with the team, it's not like this was a game time decision.
Will be interesting to see how the rotation changes. Does Exum get more minutes for tonight only, or do they keep him limited as protection for the stretch run and playoffs? Will Hardy get important minutes? Do they try to keep THJ in the 15-18 minute range?
yep, agreed. I'd have confidence that we could roll out something that would really surprise them and maybe offset the luka loss.....except for that the Xs and Os and rotations are called by J Kidd. An A level (hell a B level) coach could have a decent chance at us getting a W. I'd bet the farm on OKC tonight now though.shack009 said:

It probably isn't a great Hardy game, unfortunately, because of OKC's size in the backcourt.
Seems like the strategy from last game was just to leave Giddey wide open and let him shoot.
Those with and without Luka statistics along with the total number of injuries this team has had should cement Luka's case for MVP, but people are really stupid.

I see why Hardy doesn't play more when Luka is playing. Hardy thinks he is the best player on the court and that he should always take over.
SGA gets every ****ing call... If Luka got every call SGA got Luka would shoot 10+ FTs a game too...

PJ's line was horrible. Needed him bigtime once Josh went down. Kyrie was awesome, THJ had a good one, and Gafford was a beast.
