Tillman Fertita owns the Rockets and the Golden Nugget.

I don't see any hope of Texas doing the smart thing and allowing gambling. Instead, they are happy to see millions of Texas dollars go to Louisiana, Vegas, and Indian Reservations.

Ya Adelson is a big time donor to Abbott. She could definitely have some influence (and is much much wealthier than Fertitta).

Absolutely ridiculous from Luka. Dirk just said on the broadcast "I'm telling you, his post game is out of control."

I may be mistaken, but I believe he said his "horse" game is out of control. They referenced Luka's crazy bag of shots earlier in the broadcast.

Would they actually build a new arena?

Feel like the Victory Park area has been developed rather nicely over the past few years.

Although, I think Cuban owns quite a bit in the Design District. He might want to build over there.

First and foremost, Cuban wants to do a big casino resort and own part of it rather than continue to lease at the AAC. Second, he always complains about the lack of parking in Victory now that all the former surface lots have been developed. The parking is a dumb complaint as it has never, and will never, hurt attendance, but all the residential, office, retail, and restaurant uses make going to a game much more of a fun experience.

Grant started the first 7 games strong but hasn't impressed.

We all know timmy is timmy and will jackup any shot he gets.

DJJ and DLII have been really good. Exum has been decent.

Signing Josh was the right move at the time and it was widely praised. He just hasn't taken that step that was projected and expected. He had shown improvement from season-to-season every year since being drafted. It's been disappointing so far, but I'm not ready to give up hope just yet.

Green shot .537/.402 last year as a 21/22 year old and showed a lot of good defensive potential. He took a 3y41mm contract - which is less than 9% of the cap per year. Absolute no brainer, especially at that price. Talking heads were saying he could get closer to 20mm/year.

Grant's last 10 games have been anemic, but you absolutely need a guy like him that is switchable, has a reliable corner three (career .426, this year .421), and loves the defensive grind and getting into opponents heads. He's the type of role player that knows their role that every championship team needs.

Derrick Jones has been a real steal and Lively shut up MCSwag (and pretty much everyone else) by being an NBA-read 8/8 guy right out of the gate.

Green isn't playing up to his potential - hitting 35% of his catch and shoot threes, last year was over 40%. But I think it will likely even out. Look at Duncan Robinson - shot 44/41 in 2021, then 39/36 over 22 and 23 seasons. Now this year he is at 48/44 shooting. I think Green will work it out. The big issue I see (that I think I brought up a few pages ago) is that Green is almost exclusively a corner three shooter, but so is Grant Williams and Derrick Jones. If all three of them are only comfortable taking their shots from the same place, then it limits offensive movement and also your player rotations. These three should be your 4-6th scorers, but they all only score in the exact same way.

Hardy has been the bigger disappointment. I know he has had injuries, but I really thought this would be his breakout year.

Wouldn't call Hardy a disappointment considering he doesn't get the chance to play. His issue is that he is a small scoring guard who doesn't help at all with the team's bad defense. He is repetitive, not additive, on this team. But he's a top 5 offensive player on this team, maybe 3rd best depending on how you value THJ or Seth Curry.

It's the first night of a back to back against a bad team. As long he plays against OKC tomorrow, then it makes sense for Luka to have off tonight anyway.
