The youngest team in any respective postseason field has only made it past the conference semifinals 4 times, and the Thunder are the youngest team to EVER win a playoff series and second youngest period. History says the moment will get too big for them quickly.

Now that being said teams that young are never the one seed either

Yeah there's never been a young team that has had the guy who will be 2nd or 3rd in MVP, a redshirt generational player that people were waiting to draft for 3 years, and a lottery player who has future all NBA written all over him. Not to mention numerous other lottery picks about to enter their prime and an all defense guy in his prime.

Is that all the accolades, or did I miss some?

Only six starters across the 8 teams left in the playoffs are 30 or older. It's a young man's game now.

Thunder fan here. The Mavs are a team I didn't really want to have to play. I think it'll be a good series but Gafford and Lively could be difference makers with their athleticism.

What's brutal about it, this is awesome!

Definitely sucks for fans of both teams who'd otherwise like to give their full attention to each game

Definitely didn't see Minnesota running Denver off the court in this series. Looking right now like this might end up a clean sweep with Minnesota going home and getting Gobert back.

Even without Gobert, they have such good wing defenders, especially if Ant decides he's going to be a lockdown guy too. They might be a worse matchup for us than Denver, if we move on…

Denver just doesn't have the depth without Bruce Brown. KCP, Braun, and Watson aren't going to cut it as guys 5-7.

I'll say this: Jokic is the best player in the NBA right now, but because he is not particularly adept at creating his own shot off the dribble their offense can be ground to a standstill when the opposition has enough good defenders to both body him up and take away his passing lanes. And with Murray playing on one leg and Michael Porter deciding to perpetually not live up to his potential, Denver really has nobody that can consistently go get a bucket right now.

Dallas has two guys who can get pretty much any shot they want against any defender in the NBA, assuming Luka is anywhere near healthy. Not saying Minnesota wouldn't beat Dallas but it's a very different dynamic.

Time to shut down a young and hungry OKC team again, ala 2010-2011

Not sure what other opinion one could logically have at this point. Luka has been limping up and down the court for two weeks now and hasn't shot the ball well at all. Dallas CANNOT win this series unless he is exponentially better than he has been.

Hardaway on the roster to do one thing and can't do that, and just a massive negative without it.
