I saw some on off numbers earlier that showed these teams tied in the non Porzingis minutes during game 1 and 2. It's pretty even when KP doesn't play.

The Celtics are just clamping the Mavs role players at this point. It just doesn't seem like the Mavs can find a way to break them down and now it will be up to Luka and Kyrie to have a big second half to keep the season alive.

I'd pay big money to never have to hear Stephen a smith again.

Mavs have a lot of good things working. They are going to open it up here in the 3rd. Same thing they have done in the previous 3 rounds.

No rational Mavs fan thinks we win this series at this point in time. It's certainly possible, as our fanbase has seen before. But the reality the only other team in the same league as this Boston team that blew a 2 game Finals lead was the 2016 Warriors. Teams this good just don't lose 4 out of 5, generally speaking.

Saying it's irrational to EXPECT to win this series right now is just a fact. If it happens that's awesome, but Dallas is in fact extremely unlikely to do it. If this goes 7 then I'll be nervous.

Yes Celtics shot quality is 100% better than the Mavs since the first 6-7 minutes. Luka is off. Kyrie doing everything he can but needs help from somebody.

Winning tonight wasn't gonna change much. It's extremely obvious now 11 quarters in that Dallas just has to work too hard to score in this series for any normal level of variance to allow for winning 4/5. It would Boston actively losing the season of their own error, repeatedly.

The defense has remained championship level for most of the series. Dallas is gonna keep Boston around 15 points below their season average for the series. But they just can't score on this team consistently. Every trip down the court is Luka or Kyrie hero ball.

I think this is the last quarter I'm going to watch guys.

Got crushed in the most important quarter of the season. They turned the Mavs into a 2 man team. Putting in THJ at that point was just a hail mary attempt.

Kidd really has no good options this series. The makeup of Boston renders Gafford/Lively minimally effective and THJ, Hardy and Kleber are all functionally unplayable in this series. Exum, DJJ, Washington, Luka and Kyrie are the only guys able to provide productive minutes and PJ has forgotten how to shoot.

Given the limitations of human endurance there's just not much he can do.

This is our first legitimate year to knock on the door. We have the most important piece which is the superstar top 5 player. Now we gotta see how Nico tweaks the roster

Nothing the Mavs can do when they just can't miss. Dallas should have won game 2, this series is now over.

Dallas has defended Boston better than any team all year for the vast majority of this series. Boston's offensive efficiency is WAY down from the regular season. They just can't score. They're gonna end up averaging around 90-95 PPG in a playoff series in 2024. That's incomprehensibly terrible.
