The typical scenario in these situations (where the higher seed is down 3-1 and going home) is the home team wins game 5 and then the series gets closed out in game 6. Historically the game 5 home team win is often a blowout. I won't be shocked if we get run out of the building TBH since it's just a common historical trend.

The important thing is not letting it get to 7. Game 5 or game 6 only really matters from a rest standpoint.

My buddy told me something last night that made me feel better and it was this simple fact:

The Mavs are too good for ANY team in the NBA to beat them 4 games in a row.

They got this.

I mean, no team has ever lost 4 straight after being up 3-0 so that's not really saying anything.

I will say this series is closer than most 3-0 series. Dallas could easily be down 3-1. But winning 4 straight games against similar caliber of team is just so hard.

Losing a 3-0 lead would be a permanent scar on Luka's legacy. I don't see that happening, but let's pls shut it down sooner than later and avoid anymore stress

I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about tonight. Probably just playoff nerves but could see us losing by double digits if lively doesn't play and then I'll kinda start freaking out. Really hope we get it done tonight.

I'm going back and forth on tonight. I obviously want to win and get rest (for the team and my nerves), but I have game 6 tickets and would really love to be in the barn for a closeout win.

Oh make no mistake, I'm rooting hard to win tonight. That said, my sadness level if we lose will be lower than normal.

I feel like Luka (and Kyrie) has that mentality where they'd enjoy winning a series on the road more than in front of their own fans.

I feel the same worry I felt after every Clippers loss and after Game 4 of OKC. If Luka decides he's going to stop foul hunting and just take the 5-8 foot floaters they are giving him (or even closer to the rim) then we will be fine. If Kyrie doesn't have a crap game we will be fine.

Things you will worry about until you see it in the game, but things the Mavs have answered whenever they have needed to in this playoffs.

Seriously, wtf is a neck sprain? It sounds really bad but at the same time there is a decent chance he plays tonight. Is it like an ankle sprain where it's just a pain tolerance thing? Being in the neck you would think you would have to be a lot more careful than a foot/ankle sprain, but I'm also dumb.

Having had many neck and upper back sprains from lifting more weight than I probably should over all the years, it can go either way. I've had sprains that have taken weeks to heal and even a morphine injection for one that was locked up so bad that I couldn't stand up and I've had others that seemed severe that just disappear miraculously after a day. They are NO fun, especially the types that don't allow you to tuck your chin into your chest or move your head side to side. I stretch a lot more these days and hit the chiro regularly and thankfully get them a lot less. I wouldn't wish a severe neck sprain on my worst enemy. They're also one of those injuries that when you turn the corner on pain and range of motion after it unlocks, that can really benefit from movement.
