Carlisle should start him tonight and get it done quickly.

Luka triple double, Dirk passes Wilt, Mavs lose which isn't the worst thing in the world.
8:47a, 3/19/19
When Dirk passed Shaq a few years ago, figured that would be it; seeing Wilt as next in line made it seem
so out of reach. So happy he was able to do so. He isn't going to pass anyone else, so hopefully he'll sit at 6 for quite a long time

So how hard would you have laughed if 20 years ago someone told you that the dude on the left would end up sandwiched between MJ and Wilt on the all-time scoring list?

And dude in middle would be cultivating his own weed strains in Hawaii.

still very mad that the guy in the middle very likely cost the mavs a title in 2007.
The mavs owned the Jazz and the spurs. Playing lebron and his cavs in the finals would've been a joke.

I don't care if you're team tank or not, that was a fun night of basketball watching tonight. Another Luka triple-double, and Dirk with a season-high 21

That win was a lot of fun.
The only good player the warriors were missing is curry. The warriors would've had a hard time winning even with the full team because how good the mavs were shooting. A road win against them was long over due. We hadn't won in that craphole in over 7 years.

If the NBA is going to give the ROY award to a guy who was actually in his second season of the NBA, then they can give it to a guy who has played professionally but is in his first true NBA season

Lol it's hilarious that the original knock on Luka was that he never played against the "best athletes" in college but now he's being knocked for having professional experience.

Exactly, I don't think they are being racist but they are definitely biased...some are probably being racist of course

Hours after his ACL tear. No way this happened. Wrap it up quickly so we can move on.

If it is found to have happened, cut him and move on
Hopefully- more so for the woman, honestly- it didn't happen, and we can resume our basketball dreams

One report is saying his attorney alerted authorities and NBA that a woman was trying to extort him. NY Post conveniently left that out of their article. Really hope this is all BS

Correct. The ESPN report has the quote from the attorney stating they reported the woman to the FBI and NBA months ago for alleged extortion. She waited a year to report after allegedly trying to get money out of him.

I wonder what role Cynt Marshall played in this since she has come on board to help clean up the organization. If he's found to be guilty, there have to be A LOT of questions around her role and the Mavs in general.

I don't think Cynt has any handlings with NBA player personnel decisions. That's 100% on Donnie and Cuban.

I would say in most situations that she would not be consulted. However, with all of the sexual harassment stuff that has gone on, I would imagine Mark would have said "hey, we are looking at a player and this accusation may come up...what are your thoughts?"
Do I think someone is raping someone hours after a significant injury? I would venture to say no. However if the lady is found to tell the truth, he needs to go. And the light will be shone brightly on her because she was the one to clean the acceptance of this behavior up.

I get what you're saying, but what could Cynt possibly add to that conversation? She has no other insights to the story than I do. I do think it's smart to consult Cynt from a PR side of things, but I do not want a non-Front Office person making personnel decisions that alter the competitiveness of the team.
Like, let's say they did consult her and she said "No, that allegation is too toxic, you shouldn't trade for KP." Then what? That puts Donnie in a precarious situation to achieve his goal (winning) and could create a lot of friction.
Tl;dr - There's a reason most team Orgs don't have a GM and CEO separate from an owner. The line of responsibility is easily blurred. I personally think Cynt should have nothing to do with player personnel decisions simply due to the fact she has no extra information. Let her focus on managing the org that is in place and let Donnie/Cuban manage the team.

Obviously it's possible this happened, but the fact that she was trying to extort him for money and then over a year later went to the police...
The times you hear about women going a long time after its due to shame or fear, according to the victims.
This seems more like someone who banged a pro, and then said she would say he raped her unless he paid up. Could be wrong.

ESPN has obtained their text messages and the contract he allegedly signed. Amomg other indications she's full of crap, his name was misspelled on the contract.
