Eh... I don't hate it. Young is a gamble and it is hard to see him growing size needed to guard anyone in the league but... he's also only 19. He has a lot of skills and people take for granted how awful and how much he did for OU last season.

He's highly skilled and if he develops physically could be really really good.

I guess I'm too afraid he ends up being more Jimmer than Steph. Just seems like there are too many bigs that seem like more of a sure thing imo.

After Bagley and Ayton, I don't see the sure thing bigs left.

I personally think Carter is too slow to be effective in the NBA and Bamba's skills are throwbacks to a decade ago. But always have to remember all these guys now are young as crap and still developing significantly so we might not know what some of these guys are for 2-3 years still.

I like Bamba. May never develop to be a great offensive player, but defense and rebounding usually translate pretty well.
