Not trying to be Debbie Downer, but realize that's probably more of a possibility than Lebron actually landing in Houston.
Depends on where you look. Some have the Lakers as #1.gougler08 said:Vegas disagrees with thatATM9000 said:agdaddy04 said:Aggie1391 said:

Kuzman, Ingram, & Randle are nice pieces. You keep them with LeBron & Paul George and I think you have a team that can win 60 games. You would need a PG who can shoot a little and pass. Maybe Ball would be that guy, maybe not.Ryan34 said:
I think LA will be his first choice too. But not sure he goes there if they can't get a 3rd star somehow.

If its all about beating GS he has two choices. Houston and Philly. If its about building a championship calibre team over 4-5 years and bring LA back to its glory days that might play better for his legacy long term, but he is not beating a Seth, Durant GS until that team starts to break apart.
I had seen it last week when we were the favorites, but should know better than to just assume that stayed the sameATM9000 said:gougler08 said:Vegas disagrees with thatATM9000 said:agdaddy04 said:Aggie1391 said:

What? Lakers are the favorite to land Lebron. If that happens, I think there's a good shot CP3 is a laker next season and Brandon Ingram or Lonzo or some players like that are Rockets.
I also wouldn't sleep on him staying with the Cavs. They have some sneaky bullets to offer to retool quickly if they'd like.

Can y'all show me where Vegas has odds for this?
If not, stop acting like these odds mean *****
Boston's been talked about. 3 way trade with the Knicks.shano0603 said:Agnzona said:

I don't think there's another options besides Houston to take down the Warriors, pending more movement. Philly is solid and has a bunch of young talent, but I don't think it's enough to get more than a game or two from the Warriors.

I just cannot picture LeBron in a Laker uniform. If he finally makes a move to the West it will be with Houston or maybe even San Antonio. If he stays in the East I am guessing it will be Philly or remain in Cleveland. He knows his main competition in the East is Boston, and it will only get tougher with Hayward and Kyrie back. Obviously in the West he would need to join a team that can beat the Warriors in a 7 game series. Houston was probably a CP3 hamstring away from the Finals. At this point everything is just wild a** speculation, but hopefully we hear something soon. He has until late June to decide on his player option. Moratorium is July 1-6 I believe. Then trades can become official.
Oh I definitely agree. No matter where LeBron goes he turns that team into a contender. Partly because he is the best player in the NBA, and partly because he will have a say in who he plays with. Out of all the rumored options the only one I really struggle with is LA. I know he could bring some friends with him, but in my own personal opinion, right or wrong, I feel like that puts him in Kobe's shadow.ATM9000 said:CFTXAG10 said:

I think people are underselling what having Lebron means to a team.
Case in point: think about how ****ty the Cavs sans Lebron. Then you realize that even as bad as that team was, they'd have probably beaten every team in the West not named the Warriors or Rockets.
Make no mistake: if he goes to the Lakers and brings PG3 and likely another superstar with them, they magically probably become the 2nd best if not the best team overnight.
