Just watched a clip and noticed how Durant wouldn't look at Steve Kerr as he tried to coach him and even walked off before he was done telling him what he was trying to tell him. What a POS.

When they listened in to Kerr talking to Durant 1on1 about Jordan and what he would do in these situations I was like GTFO. I do wonder how good a coach he is sometimes or if it's just the talent on the team. I mean Luke Walton looked just as good for a while.

Harden needs to take game 6 as an opportunity to get back on track. We probably don't ice it in Oracle and he needs the time to get his shot to fall

Agree. Green is not that good on defense, but he has hustle enough to mask it somewhat and he has the offense.

Geez, the early Vegas line for Saturday night is Warriors -10.5. Pretty sure it was Warriors -7 for both Games 3 and 4. Guess Vegas thinks CP3 will be out.

That or even with cp3 gs will come out and try to crush us like game 3?

Think that will shift closer to the Rockets regardless of CP3's health. Seems like decent value at the moment.

I'm betting Paul will sit out game 6 but gut it out in game 7 if it goes that far.

Rockets need to try and channel the 2017 Spurs mojo of winning a series clincher with a big dog on the bench (2 in that case). Hopefully Harden plays one for the ages in game 6 and Paul can get a weeks rest before the Finals.

For game 6, maybe rest and try to recover some. Game 7 - pull off an inspired Willis Reed moment.

I agree nobody knows and I'm hoping for the best. Doesn't look good, however. Heard on the radio that Paul has never missed less than 2 games when tweaking a hamstring.

With (probably) Iguodala back for the Warriors and Chris Paul out, and Warriors at home with back against the wall, I'll go with a guess that Golden State wins Game 6.

Also will guess that Cavs similarly win their Game 6 against Celtics tonight at home.

Which, if that plays out, means two Game 7s with two teams (Boston and Rockets) that were underdogs in the series yet get to play the Game 7 at their place.

Pretty exciting weekend of NBA playoffs coming up. Doesn't get much better than these kind of Game 6/7 situations.

I don't like the narrative that TNT and others have been pushing about us just throwing in the towel for Game 6. I don't see that happening. In fact, -10.5 point underdogs or not, the Warriors are in an unfamiliar place right now. They are on the brink of elimination. If CP3 cannot go or heck even if he can I throw Gordon into the starting lineup and try to throat punch them early. See if they come out timid and nervous or aggressive and relentless. Play a short bench early on. Green/Luc, and Lord help us but maybe Anderson too. Ride with that through 3 quarters and see where it gets you. If at any point we are getting the doors blown off or its pretty obvious we have no chance then pull the plug and start resting guys.

Game 6 is going to tell us a lot about our MVP

My favorite part of the game was late in the 4th when the cameras panned over to the Rockets' bench during a TO, and you just see Chris Paul passionately speaking and directing the team as he stands and the rest of team sits. They were all locked in and hanging on every word.

He's such a savage alpha dog and I'm confident he'll be there when this team needs him most, despite the apparent injury.

Does anybody else get pissed when dumbass shaq, chuck, and Kenny talk nonsense about us like "rockets play fast, rockets lose when there's aren't falling, rockets don't play defense." It makes me angry that those morons clearly don't know jack **** about us and are rooting against us.

A couple of thoughts:

(Assuming Paul's injury isn't season ending) At first i was thinking, let's rest CP and have him more healthy for game 7. But then you risk the Warriors getting their offense going during game 6 and getting their confidence up for game 7. They are obviously struggling with our defensive pressure and why not go balls out again and see what happens.

IF Paul is out for game 6, I see Gordon and Green getting more minutes. But you will also need another body or two to step up. Obviously need to test Luc out and see if his shoulder is any better but why not trot Anderson out there and just see if he hits a couple. If we're going to lose game 6, we need to at least test out a couple players before game 7.

My favorite so far has been:

1) Chuck saying Warriors in three. Warriors in 5. Then last night at halftime he says I will be surprised if the Rockets don't win this game. Like, come on man? What is it?

2) When we win they say it is ugly basketball, and its not fun to watch. That to me is the weakest most BS take I have heard in quite some time. No credit given for taking them out of rhythm and making them play more of our style, No credit to our defense. No credit to Dantoni making adjustments or our guys hustle/heart. Ridiculous.

Another thought. I think this series has proven a lot. This roster can absolutely compete with the Warriors and we should sign CP as he's obviously been the difference maker this series.

Also apparently Draymond guaranteed a game 7. Bulletin board material.
