For Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a draft pick.

They got nothing at all in return. The pick is supposed to be a 2nd rounder. Can't believe the rockets couldn't offer this much trade value.

The Rockets are already 20mm over the cap. Carmello is getting 26mm per.

Not sure the relevance of this comment? Kanter and McDermott combine slightly more than what Anderson will make this season and the Thunder are more over the cap than the Rockets.
Now that said, they roll out of McDermott and Kanter the season after this one which is superior to rolling out of Anderson's deal in 2020.
It does? The team last year won 55 games and was about at the cap. They added 25 M in Pauls deal (+13), signed Tucker (+7 M) and Harden got a raise (+3). Vegas has them as the 2nd highest win total to GS. I would say this is a pretty well-built roster.nbbob said:
The fact the Rockets are $20m over the cap with that roster speaks volumes.
