After a few minutes, Duncan and James walked with purpose over to the media scrum. But as reporters quickly scrambled into position for a long-awaited interview with the NBA's greatest power forward and the driving force behind the Spurs' five NBA titles, Duncan unveiled the punchline.
"Excuse me?" Duncan said. "Is there a bathroom back over here?"
Pointing a finger toward the door to the media work room, Duncan walked through the scrum without cracking a smile.
The media responded with laughter and some later congratulated James on his part in the prank.

From what Kawhi said at practice, his ankle still isn't right. And it's hard to see that change in 24 hours. With the way he's talking, the outlook doesn't look great

They for sure would have. But Pop has a lot of influence, especially within the San Antonio community. To act like his aggressive statements about the incident wouldn't make things worse for Zaza and his family seems like a blind thing to do.

So coaches should never complain about players or refs for that matter? Blaming those comments is as stupid as the dirty play itself.

Lol.

I didn't say Pop can't say what he wants to say. I said that, given the circumstances, it makes complete sense that Pop's comments could cause that type of situation for Zaza and his family to be worse.

I guess trying to understand something outside of my own personal bias makes me idiotic.
