I was just taking an opportunity to trash Thompson. I can't stand Klay or Draymond.

What's wrong with Klay?

Thompson is a good defender, but I think he's a little overrated as an individual. The warriors are good collectively, but it has more to do with their scheme and commitment, how they swarm with their collective speed. Iguodala and Green are their two true lock down defenders (and they are fantastic); the rest of them play smart defense but aren't individually elite.

Because he plays for GSW or because he is emotionless or ???

Disagree as it's pertains to Klay. They do play amazing team D and I've been impressed by KD's defense this yr.

I can understand hating on them because they aren't your team, but I don't understand how you can hate in their style of play. It's fun to watch, they play hard, play as a team, play defense, and play the percentages. What isn't to like? They score too much? Only thing I can think is that you prefer the four corners offense??

True or false: if someone turned on this series not having watched basketball in the last ten years, they would think Aldridge is a deep bench scrub who got thrown in the starting lineup for lack of other options.

He looks slow, hesitant, and totally overwhelmed by the moment. Murray and Anderson are out of their depth and making tons of mistakes, but at least they are being aggressive. Mills is trying but can't get his shot to go. Gasol is too slow, getting mauled on the interior, and can't seem to do anything about it in spite of being 4 inches taller than anyone but McGee.

Since Kawhi left, Simmons is the only guy who plays like he wants to win AND produces. And good for him, I hope the spurs are able to sign him but regardless he's making himself a lot of money... I'm pretty sure Kawhi likes him, which seems to increase the chances that they'll make space.

I'm not sure if that second paragraph is aimed at me, but I actually like the warriors (other than Green and Pachulia dating back to his time with the Mavs) when they aren't playing the spurs.

As for the first paragraph, I'm probably splitting hairs. Effort is a huge part of being an elite defender and Thompson definitely brings that, so I guess I'm used to my defensive example being Kawhi but that's a pretty lofty standard.

I watch basketball constantly, I've never heard of him referred to as "one of the best wing defenders in the nba".

He is the definition of an average to good defender.

2nd paragraph was really response to grapespda. I would put Kawhi's defense above Klay.

It is extremely frustrating this is how our season ends. I am not completely throwing in the towel yet, but 2-0 to the Warriors is nearly impossible to climb out of in a 7 game series. Will have to win 4 out of 5 against a team who has won like 24 of their last 25.

Nah, you will see articles like this if you google opining that he is one of the better two-way players in the league. You can also find articles asking the question whether he is overrated as a defender, but certainly there is some perception out there among many that he is really good.

Warriors at 10-0 thus far in playoffs are winning by an average of nearly 15 points per game which is an NBA playoff record pace in point differential.

He looked more like he was called up from the D-League to see if he had ANY potential before he was let go.

Because it was just like the play with Kawhi and Zaza, including the shuffle at the end. This isn't the first illegal close out from LA. He's obviously a dirty player.

By all accounts the series should be 1-1 right now. The warriors would not have come back and won the first game without pachulia hurting Kawhi. It's unfortunate that this series will be extremely boring and one sided now. It looked like it was gonna be competitive before Leonard went down. I would've guessed warriors in 6 still, but it would've been nice to see them have to fight and get home court back. They haven't faced any adversity yet this year.

You do realize Spurs fans probably like baseball right? Probably cheer for the TEXAS Rangers and Cowboys who are both more successful in the last decade
