Yes. Every game in the playoffs matter. Had a chance to win in golden state and get home Court. A dirty play kept that from happening. On top of that, our best player just reinhard himself and who knows how bad it is. Thinking every game will go like today is also asinine.

That isn't very likely to happen again. I don't see how we can use the first half for any type of projecting for the series.
Worst part about it to me isn't the L. It's that Zaza took an extra step (well after the shot left KL's hand) to get under Kawhi and into his landing spot. That's just a dirty play - intentional or "not." The shame is that it robs the series of one of the best players on the planet. I'd feel the same way if Curry or Klay got hurt like that - it just degrades the level of basketball.

That goes beyond a flagrant foul. When you do something with the express intent to injure another player you don't belong in the freaking league. Take that garbage to the streets where you'll get the crap beat out of you and learn that's not how to play basketball.

The warriors truly are a blessed team. The year that they got their championship, every team they faced was suffering major injuries. We already had Tony Parker out for the series, I doubt we see Leonard return, it's frustrating that the warriors get so much hype for being a bunch of pretty boys who shoot 3s. It's better to be lucky then good I guess. This series is going to be a snoozer with Leonard and Parker out.
I'm pulling for the Cavs now. All curry does is chuck up 3's even tho he's really good at them, Thompson is a jerk, Green spends more time yelling at the ref then actually playing the game, Durant is a former longhorn and a front runner who couldn't get it done as the main guy in Oklahoma, and pachulia is a dirty player who injured Leonard on purpose. Lebrun please beat these guys. I can't stand them.

It didn't help that when KY went out the refs swallowed their whistles for one team. Very similar shots and possessions were called oppositely down the stretch.
I know I know. Don't blame the refs. I don't, not really, but it certainly seems like they get caught up in the moment of scoring runs and crowd energy.

Refs certainly feed off the crowd. It's not their fault, they are human.
This is where pace becomes so important. Slow pace can negate that and keep crowd out. Did that for 2.5

Completely agree. It was decided by dirty play. The Spurs still almost won even though it was 5-on-8.
There were numerous calls, though, that if called correctly would have significantly impacted the game. But, since the Spurs making the finals is a loss for the NBA in terms of money and ratings, they didn't.

It was a dirty play that took him out, but any time you give up a 25 point lead you can only blame yourself.

We're looking at a slow motion replay where a guy was moving one way to contest a shot and turned around to go to the other end of the court. There have been times when I'm doing stuff that I end up using an extra step to help shift my weight when I'm trying to change directions rather quickly.
I've watched the video like 10 times and I just don't see anything that gives away clear intent like that.
