Why not? One is young and more talented and the other is heading into the end of his prime. Sure, they're both top tier power forwards but griffin can do everything LMA can offensively and more and is younger.

...C'mon now. That's some disingenous **** right there. He was the best signing available in that offseason by a mile, and oh by the way, the Spurs are 38-7 with this new roster.

That'd be like saying the rockets trading Harden for Curry would somehow make the Rockets signing Harden in the first place a bad move.

LMA is a far better defender than Griffin. Their offensive games are similar, but I still prefer LMA's...things change when you're on the Spurs, man. It's not about putting up individual stats anymore...it's about team basketball and about getting the W.

Blake Griffin is just a super athlete, that can't play real basketball when it really comes down to it.

LMA is a baller, and I wish we had gotten him in the offseason.

Not really debatable that Blake is better than LMA. You could however debate who is better for the Spurs. I say LMA for the current Spurs but Blake would be the better option in a couple years.

Honestly think (even before this incident) that Blake looks like a tool off the court. All he can really do is dunk on people and attempt to make some dribble moves, step back and pull up for a jumper.. then brick it. He will most likely never win a championship.

Not when it matters, and not in a set offense. He is good at transition offense before the defense is set, and not during crunch time.
