The problem with the Cavs has nothing to do with the coaches really... I PERSONALLY (probably doesn't mean much) that the Cavs are BETTER when Kyrie and Lebron are not playing at the same time. They both want the ball a ton and it just simply does not work. I think you put the Cavs in the west and they sit somewhere in the 5-8 spot.

Also, pretty crazy how this whole thing has gone down.. Lebron and management will say that Lebron was not a factor in this decision, but that just isn't the case. Cavs=Lebron.. Lebron brings sooooo much money to the Cavs that management will listen to him. Blatt will have a new coaching job next year, and that team will probably perform well. They say Lebron is uncoachable... I do not think that is because of his talent, but because of his personality. If he wants to win so bad then he probably should not have chosen to play in the East

I don't think Lebron walked in and said "he's gotta go."

What I do think is that he has a lot of influence, and he made it known last year that Blatt wasn't his favorite coach.

This year, somehow amidst an 11-2 run and being 30-11 overall, the whole team was acting grumpy. The GM probably asked Lebron(and maybe others) why, and the answer wasn't "Blatt," but it was probably something along the lines of the guys don't see a championship as being attainable, unhappy with playing situations, stale, etc.

GM knows Lebron not only isn't going to go to bat for Blatt, but he'll likely be happy if a move is made, and thinks it'll boost morale, so he makes the move.

Did Lebron go in and say fire him? No. Was Lebron influential into what ultimately led to his firing? Yes.

With LeBron on essentially a 1 year contract, the Cave are definitely making sure he's happy. If he liked Blatt, then they would not have fired him.

Well they're fleecing okc in okc and have looked pretty damn good.

Raja Bell (who was with Cleveland organization last year) said Lue was doing all the defensive game planning going back to last year so it isn't as big a transition as it may sound. Will still use a lot of Blatt's sets, but up the tempo and make the elbow game with Love a priority.

They at least seem to be playing as good as they were prior, and their ppg have increased by 7 under Lue so far.

Will be interesting to keep watching as the season progresses
