No clue why we played barrea so much. He can't do anything against the thunder. and zaza is beyond awful.

The crowd really wanted to get into it tonight but there wasn't much chance to bc they would score or get an offensive rebound every time we would cut it to 8-10 points.

I feel like we could have won last night if I was in charge of lineup rotations rather than Carlisle. He infuriates me sometimes. Anderson and Mejri both should have played much more, and Barrea should not be seeing the court much this series.

After the way Anderson and Mejri played in the first half, it was inexcusable to have them on the bench for so long in the third quarter. I couldn't believe what I was watching. Then, after Felton had been doing great, he puts JJ in for a long stretch to start the 4th and keeps Felton on the bench. I just don't get it.

This was a do or die game for us and we were playing with suboptimal lineups for large portions of the game.

Could not agree more! Being at the game last night, I loved the energy and effort from both Mejri and Anderson. Both just seem to be getting better and better each time they play. I know that Carlisle uses Anderson as a sub for Matthews, but I would have loved to see a lineup of Mejri, Dirk, Anderson, Matthews, and Felton. Mejri had some unbelievable blocks in the game last night and I think him being our backline defense in the paint helps some with Dirk's age/ability on the defensive end. Just my thoughts.

I agree. I was at the game and texting my friend. We both said that a linuep of Felton, Matthews, Anderson, Dirk, and Mejri should be played until they can't run anymore.

I was at the game as well. The crowd was really wanting to get into the game, and Mejri/Anderson were trying their best to get us into the game. It cracked me up watching Mejri after the blocks in the first half. He would just stare/yell into the crowd to get the crowd pumped.

Yes. But he was not hurt at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. He did not come into the game in the second half until we were well into the third quarter. I don't remember the exact time, but if I'm remembering correctly it was with 4-5 minutes or so to go in the third. He then got hurt after Carlisle finally put him in.

Well the problem with high energy guys like Mejri and Anderson is they really can't handle the minutes that you'd like them too. And to be honest as thin and bony as Mejri is, it was only a matter of time before he got hurt in a physical series like this.

As for JJ, I mean once Deron couldn't go again, the only other option was too lay Felton 48 minutes again.

I don't think you can blame Carlisle at all. He's keeping this thing tied together with bailing wire and chewing gum.

I don't like him when he's playing the Spurs, especially when Dirk was in his prime, but I like him the rest of the time. Probably one of my favorite non-Spurs of all time.

It'll be a sad day when he hangs it up.

I won't be surprised if Dwill is back next year. Before this series, I read a couple of places that he would likely be back. Not sure if his injury this series changed that though.

Deron Williams is interesting because this season was viewed as somewhat of a bounce-back season, when in reality his production and time missed to injury was very similar to the past few years. It was more reset expectations than bounce-back.

Dallas sure did dodge a bullet when Deron Williams didn't sign with them for the max a few years ago.

So....with Mejri questionable....that leaves Zaza. At this point, with the "win or go home", just throw Javale and Dwight Powell out there and see what happens

I was saying last game that I'd rather have clown McGee play than Zaza. Zaza is so overmatched physically that he doesn't stand a chance against Adams and Kanter. At least McGee would bring a little more athleticism.
