Gotta say though when I turned on the game with about 4 mins left the defense Dirk was playing was abysmal. I mean, he can't do much I guess since he's not that athletic and can barely move but it was hard to watch.

Probably not a surprise to the regular watchers here.

If Dirk didn't have a title it would bother me. But as it is...I also don't put much stock in what some turtle-looking dude says, who actually takes pride in dominating 8-year-olds in Connect Four

Hopefully the Clips beat Memphis tonight, and we beat a hopefully resting Spurs team tomorrow night

Clippers up by 20 on the Griz right now. If we could slip into that 5 spot it would be huge.

Portland also has to lose tonight for us to get into the 5 spot- and then we have to take care of business tonight.

If Memphis loses against the Dubs, we'll be no lower than 6th, even if we lose against the Spurs. Between OKC and the Clips, think I'd take OKC- although the chance to dispatch DeAndre from the playoffs is a very cool idea

Mavs should rest everyone tonight. Memphis is going to lose which will guarantee the 6 seed. In theory Portland could also lose which would open the door for the 5 seed. I'm not sure that playing LAC is "better" than playing OKC. Neither one is a "good" matchup but OKC has at least one weakness the Mavs could exploit. Playoff Carslise versus Billy Donovan. The Mavs definitely would not be out coached in this series. Maybe they could steal a game or 2 and put some pressure on OKC. Plus, for pure aesthetics, no one wants to watch the Clippers.

Spurs are resting everyone. Mavs could too and a D-league game would break out.

I think this is just more proof that the Spurs are a system team. Doesn't matter who they put in as long as Popp is there they will win games. Imagine how good they would have been if Kevin Garnett would've been in there instead of Duncan, controlling for everything else (intangibles, blah blah blah). They would have won 8 rings. I bet they'll take what they got though.

I think we're the only fanbase that is watching the Dubs and wants them to win for a reason other than getting to 73

Anyone go to the games at the AA Center? Bought myself a graduation present for finishing the Masters degree in May by getting tickets to Saturday's playoff game. Grew up watching the Mavs back in the old green and blue pinstripes with the 3 J's. I haven't been to a game since probably HS and was just looking for recommendations on parking and such. Anyone use their shuttle service? TIA

This is pathetic. We have no shot bc we can't rebound or get off any shots inside. They are dominating us in the paint on both ends.

Feel like Carlisle might need to be second guessed her. Seemed like we were playing one way the last 2 weeks, and are playing a different game today.

this isn't a 16 seed going against a 1 like NCAA. We have multimillionaires getting absolutely destroyed out there. Mavericks are a disgrace to Dallas.

Yeah, the 3 guard lineup with Harris, Felton, JJ isn't going to cut it when you're dealing with Westbrook/Durant. Too much length and explosiveness... I do think we get one "turn back the clock" kind of game from Dirk, hopefully on a "good D-Will" night and win one game. Either game 3 or 4.
