Frustrating loss to ATL. Wes, once again, with an amazing night of defense with disappearing offense. Although as a whole, this team had a TON of wide-open looks and it just didn't go in. Another winnable game that slipped away
If Dirk hits half of what he normally does we win that game. He had wide open threes and couldn't hit them
Well technically he didn't even need to hit half because we only lost by 1 3 pt FG but carry on
Yea,the game is frustrating,but not terrible because the team actually looks pretty good. Im extremely interested to see what we look like when Parsons is 100%. I expect the offense to flow through him a lot,and we have looked really dangerous when it does that. If you remember the weeks leading up to the rondo trade, we were looking great that way
So somehow both John Wall and Otto Porter channeled their inner Steph Currys tonight and couldn't miss from behind the arc...and yet we still almost came back to win. Didn't help that Deron was out tonight, but so was Beal.
Oh, and Charlie V needs to be benched for the rest of the season in favor of Jeremy Evans

I was gonna say at halftime that Parsons has completely lost his confidence...then scored 15 in the second half and looked much better

He's rolled out a 4-guard lineup twice now....and at one point this season in the 4th quarter of a losing game he even rolled out a 5-guard lineup

Amen. Been thinking this all year. Would also like to see Justin Anderson get some more playing time but we all know how Carlisle feels about playing young guys

Oh yeah, now THAT was a rebound game. I know Memphis isn't what it was last year, but a win over them is still solid. A bizarre way to do it though- Javale McGee with several solid blocks on ZBo and some lob slams, and other inspired bench play from JJ

Awesome, solid win against a good team. Mavs apparently had 30 second-chance points, by far the mostof the season. Barea's freakshow 7/8 from 3-pt is a well-timed anomaly considering Deron being out. And the defense was really great, capped off by forcing Rose into a 5-second foul call while trying to inbound the ball at the end
Parsons is staring to look better too. His shot is still off but he's doing a good job of driving and creating plays.

Curry is a game-time decision tonight. To steal a victory from the Warriors would be so huge for confidence, even if Curry isn't playing. D-Will's officially out tonight.

Bleh. Most frustrating loss of a winnable game this season
Followill said it pretty well during the post- game show: pairing JJ with Parsons is a horrible recipe for getting Parsons involved and contributing- which he hasn't at ALL recently. Pairing him with D-Will who can play off the ball and get others involved makes Parsons another key scoring component if others aren't hitting. That's about the only interesting thing I learned coming out of this game
