quote:
After the tweets were published, Cuban told ESPN.com via his Cyber Dust messaging app that he still has not had any communication with Jordan since Tuesday night. Cuban said Jordan's mother, Kimberly, called him, but he declined to elaborate on that conversation.

The 39% FT shooting is just another example of his childish behavior. No reason at all that he can't shoot 55 - 60%, but he chooses not to grow up.

I don't agree with him often, but Cowherd'd point on this is right: players have agents to deal with owners. Jordan has one. Cuban acting like he expected a call from a player is silly. You deal with agents.

So Cuban never met with DJ face-to-face? And DJ never gave Cuban his commitment, just communicated it through his agent?

Cowherd also said DJ's agent and Cuban are buddy buddy. FWIW.
quote:That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. He has every right to cut out his agent. But if he does then it doesn't give him carte blanche to do whatever he wants and just be a dick and not tell anyone he's changed his mind.quote:quote:Did you pay attention to this story at all?

I did. Him cutting out his agent is on his agent.

Looks like we've found the only person in the world that sides with DJ.
quote:You cannot be ****ing serious. Jordan partied for days with Cuban and agreed verbally to take $80M of Cuban's money. He absolutely owed Cuban a phone call at least to say "Thanks for the good times. I've had a change of heart, but I enjoyed getting ****ed up with you and sorry to let you down." But it's pretty apparent that Jordan is too much of a ***** to be a decent human being about the situation.quote:quote:That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. If he believed his agent was working more for Cuban than for him he sure does. And as Cuban would be complicit in that, he should expect to get cold shouldered.
Cuban would have to be pretty damn stupid here to claim he was expecting a call from Jordan.
