There's no one else I thought was worth spending a 1st round pick on if you're the Spurs. Maybe the guy from Georgia State, but even that's debatable. They're better off not taking on any salary through the draft and adding another fragile euro to their stash.

Spurs saved about $1M by taking a draft n stash. Seems like they are trying to create as much room as possible for Free Agency.

Somebody needs to tell the 76ers they need players at the other 4 positions as well. Can't only play centers.

Why not? New Philly offense, passing the ball 9 feet in the air and creating a literal box to contain the other teams big man while 8 hands search for dunks and rebounds.

I love the Mavericks, and their front office is typically really smart. But I don't know what the hell they see in that guy. He's not an NBA player by any stretch of the imagination.

I know the typical go-to cliche for fans is "I'm more athletic than that guy" which is always crap, but seriously. I'm more athletic than that guy.

i think watching him do that cone drill is the most painful.

But it does appear he can beat the hell out of a backboard with a basketball. So he's got that going for him.

My nine year old Great Dane with arthritis is more agile than that guy.

Some notable Orlando summer league results from rookies:

Stanley Johnson put up 24 points and 9 rebounds against the Clippers today. He looked pretty good attacking the basket and had a couple of steals too.

Frank Kaminsky had 19 points and 12 rebounds yesterday against the Thunder. He's playing right now against the Grizzlies.

Justise Winslow had 15 points and 3 assists against the Pacers yesterday.

Myles Turner had 20 points and 8 rebounds against the Heat yesterday.

Mario Hezonja had 12 points off the bench yesterday against the Clippers and hit a game winning 3.

Myles turner looked amazing in the highlights I saw. I didn't realize he had so much range and scoring ability.
