....according to my numbers here......a very high percentage of shots........like 94-96% that aren't taken....

....DON'T GO THE FCK IN!!!!!

Thanks for rubbing the last 7 seconds of that game all over your junk while the ball dribbled around uselessly on the floor around your feet.

Given the stakes, that was probably the best game of his career. Shame for him that it ended like that because he played his ass off.

All the great ones like to punctuate great performances by dorking it when it counts.

Just like Jordan.....I mean....he always blew it in the clutch didn't he?

If he had shot the ball and missed, you would be here saying dumb chit like "he missed it when it counted most. Dude's a choke artist" blah blah blah. James played a great game, and the ending was unfortunate. But GTFO here with all the bs you're spewing

Nope.

IF there were 20 seconds left then maybe you would be right if he hurried a shot instead of trying to get something set......but with that little time left and no TO called I wouldn't blame a guy a bit for taking it down and putting something up.....at least then there's a chance. When you don't even put a shot up because you hesitated and then lost the handle in traffic....well......chances of winning are....0.

There wouldn't have been the opportunity for this last possession if Harden had not played as well as he did. Bad play to end it, but he played a great game.

Dwight didn't hustle back and so the Warriors could double Harden without any consequence. Watching the replay I think that play is more on Dwight than on Harden.

Also, when he stepped-back free of Curry & Thompson, Barnes was still behind him and would have contested the shot.

A TO needed to be called when he pulled up and got trapped, that was the only mistake in the play

Golden State did a great job getting back on defense and made sure to focus their attention on Harden. I know people have said Harden could have passed to Terrence Jones, but he has struggled in the passing game. The pass to Dwight Howard was the problem. It appeared the Rockets were trying to reset the offense with the Harden/Howard pass exchange. This knocked of a couple seconds and made it where you really couldn't put the ball on the floor.

......with Howard trailing on offense, the best option would have likely been to call a timeout and have around 5 seconds to setup a game-winning play. I imagine if the Rockets called a timeout, the Rockets would have brought in Josh Smith and tried to get Smith or Howard the ball (and Golden State would have likely fouled and hoped to win the game or send to OT.

I disagree that Howard didn't hustle there, bu it seems like Howard is playing hot potato with the basketball, as he appears to want no part of it, even though the lane is wide open. However, those who have watched it more than I can feel free to correct on that.

What happened to the three other guys on the floor though. Where did Corey Brewer go as that play is unraveling? Not asking cynically, but I don't ever see any of them enter the picture.

To me, it is easy to second guess the call to not call a timeout at any point, but I feel like once you decide to go, you have to go, and you can't be constantly thinking, "Should I call a timeout now or now...maybe now?". It was just a nice defensive play by Golden State.

But if Jason Garrett was there, he would have called the timeout just as the ball is passed back to Harden who would have then made a miracle shot...only to have it come off the board.

Harden had a wide open shot at about the 4 second mark...that was the killer and I can guarantee you he is kicking himself for passing it up. He passed to Howard not knowing it was Howard who was trailing - he thoughi t was someone else who would have had a wide open three.
