I literally will not watch the finals with him in it, since the Rockets are out, it won't be much of a sacrifice.


So many players make faces all game long and even more have some dumb signature celebration: Harden's cooking thing, Jet's jet, old school with Dikembe fiber wag, etc.

Maybe you hate sack dances too?

And by drama do you mean 5 finals appearances with 2 different teams with a hobbled second fiddle and a missing 3rd player? TNT knows drama and how Cleveland will do in the finals will be drama.

I agree on the drama queen aspect. Every ankle roll, jammed finger, or collision looks like it will be the final straw as he goes down. "Exhausted" LeBron was pretty predictable at the end of the game.


But dam n, he's so good and worth watching.

Bill Simmons did a podcast with Brian Windhorst about 6 weeks ago. Windhorst has been following the team all year and had quite a bit of inside info. He more or less confirmed that LeBron (with Tyronn Lue)is basically coaching the team.

He shot poorly to start the game, then went +50% for the next 3 quarters. And of course he's going to shoot a lot; he's playing without Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. They're forced to play 2 offensively-challenged centers that can't space the floor and the backup point guard in the starting lineup. What planet are you from?

Anybody who wants to dislike Lebron is free to do so. But you really need to admit the there are many admirable qualities about how Lebron plays the game. He's not just a great talent. He's a great basketball player. He's the second best to ever play the game, and he is more than willing to sacrifice his own stats for wins. He's shooting a lot now because he has to with both love and Irving out.

You can see it just on the court. This is far more than your typical floor general stuff.

Actually, he is well known for keeping track of his stats during the game. There is only one reason a player would do that.

Lebron's basketball mind has been obvious and impressive going back to his second or third season in the league. His court vision is on par with Paul, Nash, and Manu. He basically installed his own offense mid-season, he overrules coaches on a regular basis, he decides on transactions, and it all works. Can you imagine any other player trying to do all this without wrecking chemistry and ruining his franchise? Duncan probably could. Kobe failed spectacularly when he tried.

Lebron is a very smart guy with strong leadership capabilities in addition to his physical talent. I can understand when people dislike his ego, but I can't understand when fans of the game dislike watching him play. I've more or less decided that he's the best player ever. He plays four positions at a very high level on both ends of the court.

They may be better now without Love. They don't have to set plays for Thompson. And he's a strong rebounder and defender.

I predicted a comfortable Cavs win in the series, but not quite this comfortable.


And I stand by my preseason comments that it was dumb for the Cavs to bring in Love in the first place.

I keep thinking the Warriors are going to win easily, but each game I watch the Cavs I start to think LeBron just may do it. It would easily be the most impressive playoff run of his career.

But the Warriors are damn good.

I used to say when he played for Texas he had a motor like no one I had ever seen. Lebron is really drawing it out.

I think the Cavs pass on Love and maybe just get another shooter or two.
