My god has Thibs just never heard of developments in sports science and that playing guys for 45 minutes a night isn't good coaching?

Complaint #1 about Thibs is playing his starters too many minutes. Joakim Noah, who's had injury issues this season and chronic plantar fasciitis problems, was still in Game 6 against Milwaukee in the 4th quarter when the Bulls were up 40+ points. It's maddening.

Even if he gets a 5 year, max contract from Chicago, I don't think it'll quite total 100 million.

His 5yr max is like 91mm. If he gets the max, it puts Chicago several million over the luxury tax limit with just 9 players. If Butler takes a 1yr deal and then seeks a max deal next year, he can get a 130mm contract.
