Kobe link here

I think its funny he keeps making references to what the Spurs are doing and he thinks he can "rebirth" his career and win a title before he exits. Kobe is so selfish this will never happen. Seems like he's having a hard time luring big talent or should I say "quality" talent to the Lakers. I'm enjoying this failure though.

It will be interesting to see what type of player he is when he returns. As the video/link says, at 9 months he will be back around training camp time frame. His recovery is a little longer than normal for this injury due to his age.

at no surprise... he makes 25mil next season

Unless he takes far less money the lakers aren't going to win a title before he retires

As a lakers fan these are dark days, and no the team probably doesn't have a realistic chance of getting better until Kobe is gone. Still, win the lotto this year, plus a heathy return of last years lotto pick and a couple of the other kids on the roster is a healthy foundation. To that they will need to add a big time free agent, but history says that will happen (again after next year when Kobe retires)

If he wants to do what the Spurs did, maybe he should have followed their stars' lead by taking a huge paycut. There wouldn't have been a championship if Dunca demanded $25 million per year. I wish he would just shut the **** up. He's a selfish moron and proves it every time he opens his mouth.

We all know he sucks, post shoulder surgery. Oh and he was 1-14 tonight. Shooting .331% for the season so far

Kobe is making about the same as Steph Curry, Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki combined this year.

I believe I remember reading an article of his, from when Dirk got his last contract. He essentially said he would never do that, and wants to be paid what he is worth. So he, nor any lakers fan, can complain about the team they have as a result. Just my opinion.
