We are going to be in New Orleans for a buddy's bachelor party and the Rockets play at New Orleans one of the nights we are there. Tickets are like $10 a piece, but I don't want to (nor does he want to) be subjected to some of the fans we have encountered with the Saints. Knowing everyone has some bad apples here and there, how are the crowds at Pelicans games? Intense like the saints or calmer since the Pelicans suck?

I go to New Orleans once or twice during the NBA season and always try to catch a game! The fans are really nice and the games are a ton of fun.

Hell, you would see the #1 & #2 players in the NBA right now in Harden and Davis.

I think you were saying that Davis is the best, but if the season ended right now, Harden would probably win MVP.

Yea we are going to be there till Monday so we were looking for some things to do once we got in that night before hitting bourbon. Lots of rockets fans in the group and tickets are like $10.

Appreciate the feedback - last time I went to a game in New Orleans we had beer rained upon us, cussed out, etc - saints fans are the best.

Lived in New Orleans for 3 years. Saints fans are much worse than pelicans fans. Go to the game, you will enjoy it

What's wrong with a bball game at a bachelor party? Get plastered while watching nba ball, then head to the Harrah's across the street and continue getting blasted while gambling, then head to bourbon to see some tiddys/

Not Pelicans, but Hornets. ...

The only time I've seen people have problems at am nba game are if they are obnoxious fans.
