Hack-a-Smith did seem to bother the refs as much as it bothered the Rockets. There were some strange calls.

This doesn't bother me at all, tbh. Kinda cool that he still identifies with the team so strongly after not playing for years.

Sean doesn't blatantly call harden out for flopping. He calls it "selling fouls". Sean is a homer, but he's usually pretty respectful and closer to the mark with opposing teams. He also calls our guys out plenty.

The Spurs brought the heat and Pops strategy threw Harden off. The rockets will lose first round because POp just solved them for everyone to see

I 100% agree. That got chippy and I don't like hack a whatever, but it's effective in keeping Harden out of rhythm so I expect Pop to do it again if we play. Entertaining in it's dramatic, but it wasn't great basketball tonight.

While I am not a fan of the hack-a-(fill in a last name), the rule book says it is legal, and it has proven to work multiple times. McHale should have subbed Josh out a long ass time ago. Just terrible game management on his part (which is not at all shocking)

But I don't want our paths to cross again because I don't think we match up worth a damn against y'all haha. Has nothing to do with the intentional fouls, honestly

I'm not completely on board with it but love how it helps. Literally anyone but Dwight or Capella subbing in for Smith allows Houston to run offense, or at least have Harden do something since there doesn't seem to be an actual offense.

Edit to say that Dorsey should definitely not come in to make free throws.

See the problem with that is that you actually have to hit 52.8% of your free throws (Josh Smith 12/26).
