Good news is that Memphis still has to play both the Warriors, and Clippers. Both of those are on the road, and they play the Clips the night after playing in Utah. If the Spurs take care of business on Friday, it looks really good for them to be able to move up a couple of spots.

Dude, I was SO mad when I first heard the news about that. Hated it because I loved George Hill. Assumed it was done moreso for his sake so he could ball in his home state since the opportunity arose, but I was incensed and held it against Kawhi for the first half year he was on the team.

So...we're in the last week of the season with 3 games left. Are the 2015 Spurs playing better than the 2014 Spurs at the same point last year?

Some of my concerns: Tiago's calf, Mills lack of shooting tough, any of the Big 3 old bodies/nagging injuries.
Pleased about: CoJo's defense, Baynes improvement, everything about the claw

Who do we want to play in the first round? What's the ideal path to the finals? Do we want the Cavs or Hawks if/when we get there?

I'm happy for George Hill though. And Kawhi. He wouldn't have grown into the player today if in Indiana. By all accounts, Pop didn't want to do it either, but I'm glad for both guys that he did.

And I'm happy for us as Spurs fans too, but that's beside the point. TP's quote makes me feel a little sad (nostalgic), but then also so proud and thankful that those guys are on the team. All 3 of them could have been great on their own, but the 3 of them together are a dynasty.

Read a quote from Manu yesterday that also made me a bit sad. He's definitely come to terms with not being the guy at the end anymore, but he seems okay with it. Maybe that's why Manu playing great makes me happier than the other two sometimes.

I don't want these guys getting old.

I was stunned because I knew George Hill was one of Pop's favorite players. The salary thing made sense. Indiana had to immediately give him a new contract 5y/40m. Kawhi has made about $8mm in 4 years.

I remember Grantland and other places saying this might be the first ever perfectly even trade between two teams.

Add Hakeem, Jordan, Magic and Bird and you can go back to 1979 and include all but one NBA Finals (Portland v Detroit)
