I could be wrong, but I think Pop wants the 3 seed. If he does, he doesn't need to rest guys on B2B's as much as he needs see if the starters can build up a big lead and hand it off to the bench. If he finds the other team wanting to have a dog fight, just back off and keep the guys from getting injured.

This team thrives on continuity and timing. Resting guys too much right now is a scary proposition, knowing that every team in the west can beat anyone. If your team is out of sync, dropping a game or two to get back in a rhythm might be a nail in the coffin.

We have so many guys playing well right now, you might as well play them every game from here on out. They don't need to play 35 minutes, just let them stretch their legs, run some offense, and keep the blade sharp.

This team is good enough to dial back the intensity, limit minutes, and still win games against the best.

And with the exception of Danny and Timmy, all of our starters missed significant time at the beginning of the year. They don't have a full NBA season on their legs.

I want Splitter to be back so badly. He was coming into his own there the last couple of weeks. Please, Splitter's Calf, be healthy for the playoffs.

And yes, Baynes has ended up being a huge pick up for the Spurs. So glad he decided to come back on a one year deal last season. Has really saved us from having to use Ayres and Baynes has really improved. I hope we can give him a multi year contract after this season.

Just read an interesting statistic. Since the '99 season, Spurs are 122-25 in home games in the month of March. That's an 83 PERCENT winning percentage.
