If Phoenix beats Memphis, we have the 7 seed locked up. If Memphis beats Phoenix, our game against Memphis will be for the 7 seed.

The 6 seed is still possible, but GS has Minnesota and Denver left on their schedule, which they should win.

I think I'd rather have the 7th seed and face OKC, than 6th against LAC. We've played well against both lately, but Jordan would really wear us down in a 7 game series.

I'd much rather get the 6 against LAC but I doubt that happens.

Game #82 versus Memphis will be for the 7th seed.

Memphis wasn't going to let Dirk take that last shot. Ellis got a good look and missed it.

I guess I'm more irked about the previous shot where we were up 1.

Monta was just being a good citizen of Memphis.

keith, monta was on fire the last few mins of the 4q and ot. he had a great look. no issues with it.

Wasn't Dirk farily hot as well in OT? It just seems all season that Ellis or Carter are taking the important shots down the stretch.

Ellis took the last 6 shots for the Mavs in regulation. He took 10 of the last 14 shots if you include OT.

The last play was clearly run for Monta. I don't understand why Dirk was merely a screener, that basically didn't move at all, nor appear to be an option.

Seeing the number of last second shots that Dirk gets, I don't understand why he wasn't at least a catch and shoot option. It looks like he wasn't even an option after he set the screen.

I know the season's not over, but I've been thinking about what next year's team will look like. I don't follow closely who's under contract, so I did a little looking. I knew Dirk is a FA, and see that the following are FAs too:

Carter
Marion
Harris
Crowder
Blair
James

I have to think Dirk will get worked out, and take less money to stay.

Do they resign both Marion and Carter? Depending on who they can pick up, I wouldn't mind seeing both go (as long as they get a good defender).

Harris is interesting. He's looked pretty good, and I'd like to see him with a full healthy season, with a few more minutes.

Was a fun year and I'm proud of how this roster played. Losing game 7 loke that sucked but we took a possible championship team to the brink.

With the right moves we can improve a lot next year and we still have a freakin baller coach.

Looking forward to next year already!! Went to 18 games this year including game 6 and 7. Was a fun ride.
