We are on a different level than them. We've shown the ability to beat teams without shooting well.

The worst thing to happen to Golden State was for them to get hot against San Antonio last season. They lose in 6 vs. get swept and now everyone thinks they are better than they really are. They have a good team like Houston, but they aren't real contenders.

There was one recently. Maybe Miami. I don't remember, but I do remember thinking to myself that we would've gotten blown out at the start of the season shooting like this against this team.

I agree with whoever said the current top 4 are the only ones that stand a chance of winning the west.

The scary thing is, any team is capable of winning a series, but I think only the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers and Rockets have any realistic chance of winning 3 series.

Agree with Diet

The Warriors are really not that good. I thought that was pretty clear from the 4 times we played them. Bev can quiet Curry, the only problem we'd have with them is freaking David Lee.

GS is a top defense team. With a healthy bogut and iggy they're very dangerous. David Lee is a freaking Rocket killer and Curry and murder you at anytime offensively

Beverly is a good player. But Curry averaged 23 a game vs Houston this year so let's not act like Beverly made. Him a non factor

Agreed.

The Spurs series last year was scary. I definitely prefer to avoid them. You can have a 12 point lead with 3 minutes to go in the game and you are still nervous as hell against them. No so much against Memphis.

I don't have the time to look up the shooting percentages for each game right now, but we can use the 100-point threshold as a proxy for a good shooting night. We only have 4 wins all year when we score under 100.

Rockets favored by 20 1/2 tomorrow

With the way Portland is playing right now, they could slide to 7-8 and it wouldn't be totally surprising...hell, they're only 2.5 games up on 9th place Phoenix.

If I were to put a preference order (most to least) for a first round opponent, it would be Portland, Phoenix, Dallas, Golden State and Memphis. Memphis with Z-Bo and Gasol is not a matchup I like very much.

Take care of business tomorrow night, then the schedule gets a bit tougher.

LAC, @ Brooklyn, @ Toronto (road back-to-back), OKC.

Portland could miss the Playoffs at this rate.

The Rockets have a chance to take the 3 spot this weekend. I know we haven't had success against OKC however they are clearly not playing as well as San Antonio right now. A win over the Clippers should would be a nice confidence boost.

This should be a total "win it and rest starters early" game. That was one sad-sack lineup Philly trotted out.

Carter-Williams and Thad Young are both pretty good players. Bad team, but that's not a team that should be on a 25 game losing streak.
