NBA Officials can immediately stop any momentum a dominant team might have. Several games of having all the 50-50 calls go against you in crunch time will bring a good team to it's knees.

They lost me this season. The game 3 calls were just ridiculous, and in close games you can't have all the bad calls favor one team like that.

Whether its deliberate or officials getting caught up in the moment or just good old fashioned bad calls, it's going to take me a while to get interested again. I thought I was done after 2006, but they got me back in. I'm not sure they will until Stern has gone. They need a Goodell like commissioner that will take the wheel and correct it.
