Kobe at his peak wasn't as impressive as they were at theirs.

Kobe deserves something for his durability, though. Nobody else in history maintained Kobe's workhorse-like production, season after season, for 15 straight years

I think LA wins this in 7. I can't see Denver beating Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum on their court with all the marbles on the table.

He is an amazing shooter, but the shots he gets are all about an 11 on the difficulty scale. Some of that is his fault, but it still doesn't help the percentages.

He is. The suspension is 7 games, last game of the regular season + 6 more.

Artest is not back until a Game 7, which I suspect will happen based on the lack of a killer instinct exhibited in Game 5.

The effort from Bynum and Gasol has determined whether L.A. wins each game in this series, not Kobe. Gasol is back in 2011 playoff mode i.e. not worth a ****. Bynum is hot and cold at best and a moron to boot. McGee looked like an all-star and didn't even have any plays drawn up for him while Andre Miller could do little wrong. If that continues, the Lakers are in trouble.

The Lakers will win no more than one game vs. OKC should they get past Denver if they play with the kind of effort they had last night.

Don't care what his current 82games stats are, if I am choosing a current NBA player to get the ball to with 8 seconds left and down by 1, Kobe is top 5 without a doubt.

Kobe has a history of clutchness. I will take a career of evidence over a season of evidence.

Like I said, we remember the makes and forget the misses. We remember all the times he's made big shots but forget all the times he's tried to play hero ball and bricked.
