Magic -14 1/2 over the bobcats

Dear Bobcats,

I know your owner is about to be associated with both the greatest and worst teams in NBA history, and I appreciate the cute opportunity to lose out, and have the losing streak end the season at his 23.

However, please keep the game close tonight, at least while the Knicks are playing the Floppers. so that the Grizzlies can be the 4th seed. I would like a motivated Knicks team playing to get to the 6th seed over Orlando. They need you to beat Orlando, so at least keep it close.

If you win, I will visit your city, or at least think about visiting your city, in the very near future.

How is any bet regarding the Magic a lock, when they are in full disarray and Dwight Howard isn't on the court because of a public spat with their lame duck head coach Stan Van Gundy. They're coming off a loss of 27 points to Denver.

Think of it this way -- their best player right now is Ryan Anderson. Their starting lineup is Jameer Nelson, JJ Reddick, Jason Richardson, Ryan Anderson, and Big Baby Glen Davis.
