During the Spurs game tonight, news broke that NJ received permission to negotiate with Melo about an extension with NJ, and within about 5-min, Melo was pulled out of a game that was still competitive at the time...Melo did not return and there was no injury...

competitive? barely. spurs have held a double digit lead all second half.

The only time it was competitive was when the Spurs were down in the first half before they put it into gear and went on a 20 pt swing

Yeah I watched that game. Denver had little energy after the beat-down they took in the 2nd. When Carmelo left the game it was pretty clear it just wasn't going to be Denver's night.
