58.044mm. Most teams were budgeting for a cap of 56.1mm, which is what the NBA was predicting.

The MLE is 5.765mm.
Lux tax line is 70.31mm.

For the Spurs: about 2mm more buffer before we start paying tax.

Spurs still aren't under the cap. Well, they are, but there is a cap hold of ~16mm for Richard Jefferson until he signs elsewhere or resigns. So the Spurs are still limited to the mid-level exception.

Most, if not all of the MLE will be spent on Tiago Splitter. The Spurs will still have the LLE, which will be about 2mm to sign an additional FA.

The Spurs can also S&T Richard Jefferson for another player, players, trade exception or a combination.

How much cash do they have to play with if Jefferson walks for nothing?

If hoops hype is correct, it looks like they have about 5.5 million

No matter what the spurs only have the mle and the lle to use as well as unlimited minimum contracts.

I thought the MLE could only be used on free-agents? Not sure Splitter qualifies as such, although I don't see any problem with them signing him other ways.
