Hey, I think the Liverpool fans singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" is awesome. If I was making a list of sporting events I wanted to see in person before I die, a Liverpool home game would be included just so I could here the song in person.

That said, "You'll Never Stand Alone" is stupid.

OK, "stupid" was too strong a word. How about "overly corny," and as you pointed out, a blatant ripoff.

I got an email back from Coach G. He said that it's a great idea and they look awesome. He told me that they already have some made but they dont look nearly as good. They would be a good thing to just get the idea out to everyone this year. If it goes over well this year we could probably get more made for the next year that look better.

My brother said, and I agree, that the white ones will probably get dirty easily and look bad - so I say go with the maroon or black.

Put me down for 2 maroon scarfs...now.

All are very nice. Would wear them myself and happily give them as gifts.

Ok heres the deal. The director of soccer operations gave me what they had of the gray scarves that they had to give to people. I will have them in my truck at every game. If people bring them to the games and use them during songs and chants(assuming we get those going) and it looks like people really want them, then next year they will make the designs that I came up with. The ones I will have with me are free I just need to make sure they go to people that are going to show up and actually bring them to games, so that they will make the other ones for next year. I gave out probably 15 after the M&W game, so those people know who I am, but for the rest of you, if you want one find me at the game I'm 6'3" will always have on a hat and have a scarf with me. Won't have them at the dartmouth game cause too many people at that one won't show up again but definitely that sunday at the CoC game.

I'll be at most of the games (might miss some midweek games due to business trips). I'll look for you. I'll be the guy in the faded maroon (almost pink) Aggie Soccer Hooligans shirt...

I park in olsen. And people seriously need to bring them to games not just take them and put them in some drawer never to be seen again. Need to hold them up during the spirit and whenever, we get these new fan lead "chants" going, if that ever happens.

None of the designs in this thread were made this year, we only have a grey one for now.

they look very good, but wearing scarves just because you are going to a soccer match is too much (friday's match). it's right up there with naming us soccer clubs f.c.. trying too hard to bring a euro feel to the usa.
