On an unrelated note, I have had to make cuts for our JV soccer team this week. 8 broken hearts yesterday and most likely another 10 on Friday. I've decided that this is my least favorite part of my job. I had to sit down with each of them and explain why they weren't going to be on my squad. I've been cut from a couple of teams (both times in JH - once for basketball and once for club soccer) and seen it handled well and poorly by coaches. Tried to do it as tactfully as possible, but there's just way to keep from causing that pain.
