Just when you think that has to be the bottom, we go lower. Tonight, we lost to Missouri, a team with a RPI over 150.

Is that a new program low for RPI loss? I have no idea, but it certainly has to be very high on the list.

Two losses in a week to teams with a RPI over 100:: LSU at 101 and Missouri at 151.

I thought it was yet another poorly managed game by Bobby. The second game in a row we get a 2-0 lead and I thought the subbing was awful. Actually, I didn't understand a lot of the starting line-up either. I see a group of players with no confidence and afraid to make mistakes. And how is our strategy on defending set pieces the same as it was to start the season? We defend spots instead of opposing players and gave away another 2 goals on set pieces tonight. He is also clearly coaching them to play the ball forward and hope we get the 2nd ball, but we fail to get to the first or second ball most of the time.

No one is enrolled in their new schools for spring in Nov/Dec. There was plenty of time to put together a team.

Last year's team finished with a 77 RPI.

We came into tonight's game with a RPI of 126 and just recorded our worst loss of the season.

I think it is fair to say this is the worst team in our history.

It is pretty clear that he punishes some players when they make mistakes by taking them out. Which messes with their confidence and makes them more afraid of making mistakes. Certain players do not receive this same treatment; including August, Buchanan and Sexton for some reason, but most of them get this treatment. Landherr clearly getting this treatment for a perceived mistake at the end of the first half against LSU as she didn't play the second half of that game or at all tonight. Instead of building most of his players up, his approach is to tear them down.

We knew this season would be tough for several reasons primary the blunders by Coach G and AD Alberts with a delayed and protracted coaching search. Everything going forward is on Coach Bobby and his staff to see if he can recruit and improve our play in Fall 2027.

Did the program slide the last few years under G, yes, but he recruited and left some talented players behind. This entire year is on Bobby and Trev. With the talent we had and the ladies that were incoming, we should have been a .500 team. Trev hired him late and Bobby pushed out the wrong girls and he didn't make an effort to try and recruit some other talented ladies that were moving on. I don't care if they fit his system or not especially since he couldn't really poach anyone in the portal. A good coach will adapt the style of play to fit the players available to them. Over time they can bring in players that fit their system.

Losses are much more palatable when we play the way we did against South Carolina. I realize that game ended in a tie, but the result isn't really the point. The intensity, effort, and desire were obvious. We were first to nearly every ball, and when we weren't, we fought to win the second ball. We connected passes, played with purpose, and competed for the full 90 minutes.

That should be the standard. When we play with that level of intensity, determination, and execution, the result is much easier to accept, even if not in our favor.

defense on free kicks just awful when August is in the net- she just isn't ready and hasn't been all year

this team should have made the SEC tourney and coaching and lineups were poor all season

I heard the note read "I know you have played nearly every minute of every SEC game this season and only scored that one pk goal (and missed another), but it would be great if you could score here so we don't lose to gd Missouri".

There is not much more to say after another collapse. It's the same script almost every game now. This team just doesn't know how to finish off halves or hold leads. It did look like they thought they had it won after we went up 2-0 and let up a bit. It's just a really immature group that won't change this season. The backline and GK were never in sync most of the match and continue to be dreadful on set pieces. I have no idea what we are doing there.

I do think we finish with a win against Ole Miss, but this is now officially the worst team in school history. Not a great start for Bobby, who looked disinterested on the sideline during the match.

Agh, but watching Vandy over Texas 5-0 with 14:22 left is oh so satisfying.

If you were watching the game. All the mistakes were coming from the players that have made the same mistakes all season and have the most minutes. The line up has nothing to do with players being out of position, turning the ball over, and not being able to hold possession of the ball. Some of the best moments of this game came from the fresh blood in the starting line-up. Please stop the hate on the younger players. The so call lineup you're demanding has not won a single SEC game. At some point the staff has to start playing his lower classmen to see where the line up needs to be improved in the spring.
Blake #5 played a phenomenal defensive game and should've been getting minutes all season. She's the only one on the backline that actually connects passes on the ground. Sexton has been the most improved on the back line. She's been saving others in the last two games and creating meaningful opportunities.
There were only 3 changes to the line up. Show me clips of how they hurt the game?
